The Rockefellers, The FDA & The Cancer Industry and High Fructose is Only in US Food Supply..

Shocking Differences In Ingredients Between The Same Food Products In The U.S., Canada and U.K.

The obesity crisis in the U.S. has always been viewed as somewhat of a puzzle. How did Americans get so large if other developed nations are consuming so many of the same foods. Experts have debated physical activity and other lifestyle choices for years as possible culprits. However, if we analyze ingredient lists on processed foods between just two other countries, namely Canada and the U.K, we find stark differences.

“For numerous suspicious and disturbing reasons, the U.S. has allowed foods that are banned in many other developed countries into our food supply,” says nutritionist Mira Calton.

During a six-year expedition that took them to 100 countries on seven continents, the Caltons studied more than 150 ingredients and put together a comprehensive list of the top 13 problematic products that are forbidden by governments, outside the U.S., due to their detrimental effects on human health.

Examining just four processed foods, Coke, Gatorade, Heinz Ketchup and Ritz Crackers, we find that U.S. manufacturers insert high fructose corn syrup (HFCS) more than any other ingredient when comparing the same food product in Canada and the U.K.

Farm Bill: a New Focus to Fix the Mess and High School Student Proves Monsanto is Killing Bees

Kayla Elizabeth Foulk, a Junior at Camdenton High School (Missouri) in 2009 got it, why can't the EPA figure it out? Our bees are not RoundUp Ready. A new study is underway at the University level. Read Kayla's full and very thorough research paper here:
http://k12science.missouristate.edu/Junior_Academy/MJAS%20Docs/State%202009/Papers%202009/HS_ENV/Foulk_Kayla_HS.pdf

These Junk Food Brands all contain GMO. Combined they own thousands of product companies, although it's hard to know each of the brands, Boycott the parent company. Also look on the side of boxes as it sometimes discloses who owns it.

They are going to separate SNAP from farm AID and make it a separate bill,
so women and children won't be affected by the Grim Reaper coming for biotech and esp. of course MONSANTO

Trying to find out how much Monsanto collects in FARM subsidies... Not easy. If you know where to find the info ...please let me know. I want to put it on my blog... Stuff is up with the farm bill. We may have the revolution we are hoping for...

The current Bill’s failings are clear. The billions in unmet demand for USDA stewardship dollars reveals that too little money is available to farmers and ranchers seeking to build soil and stop agriculture’s pollution of waterways. Far too little money goes to research and innovation designed to meet the needs of nature and the challenges wrought by a warming planet. Too little of SNAP funds are spent on healthy fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts and whole grains. The Farm Bill remains wed to the 1940’s goal of creating abundant cheap calories, which we achieved. But in so doing, we ignited the obesity epidemic ravaging our families and healthcare system.

Twenty-first century policies must acknowledge that healthy food and farms form the foundation for secure, prosperous and healthy communities. A new nutrition policy must provide low-income people easy and affordable access to nutritious food and commit resources to teach children and young families the skills and knowledge essential to food production, preparation, nutrition, and enjoyment. Agriculture policy must make more money available to protect soil, water, and biological diversity and prevent the exploitation of workers and animal cruelty. The next Farm Bill must aim to prevent any corporation or individual from controlling farmers, ranchers, genes and markets. The challenges of climate change and obesity require aide to farmers and ranchers harmed by flood and drought as well as support for beginning farmers and projects that build sustainable regional food supply systems that make nutritious fresh food available all across the nation.

According to GAO’s analysis,
about 2,300 farms, or about 0.15 percent of the 1.6 million farms receiving direct payments in 2011, reported all their land as “fallow,” that is, producers did not plant any crops of any type on this land, for each year of the last 5 years (i.e., 2007 through 2011), as allowed under the farm bill. These producers received a total of about $2.9 million in direct payments in 2011…
In addition, according to our analysis of USDA data, 622 farms reported all of their farm’s acreage as fallow for each of the previous 10 years, from 2002 through 2011.
While some farms were receiving subsidies without actually growing crops, others got billions even though they didn’t grow the crops for which they were being subsidized, GAO reports:
Cumulatively, USDA paid $10.6 billion—almost one-fourth of total direct payments from 2003 through 2011—to producers who did not, in a given year, plant any of the crop for which they had base acres. Specifically, during this period, producers cumulatively did not plant more than 633 million acres with the crops associated with their base acres in a given year. This amounted to an average of 70 million acres each year, or 26 percent of the 268 million base acres on average that are annually eligible for direct payments.
GAO concludes with a simple policy prescription: “In light of the need to identify potential savings in the federal budget and questions about the continued need for direct payments, Congress should consider eliminating or reducing [direct subsidy] payments.”
In fact, both the House and Senate versions of the legislation contain provisions that would eliminate these direct payments in favor of expanded crop insurance subsidies.
GAO also recommends enhanced screening techniques to weed out non-farm land from USDA’s subsidy programs. The agency accepted some of those recommendations, but rejected a proposal to gather a more representative and comprehensive sample of farms that benefit from federal subsidies to confirm that those farms are still in operation.

Pesticide Use Spikes as GMO Failure Cripples Corn Belt Midwest farmers douse their fields in chemicals as insects grow resistant to Bt Corn

Pesticide use is skyrocketing across the Midwestern U.S. corn belt, as biotech companies like Syngenta and AMVAC Chemical watch their pesticide sales spike 50 to 100 percent over the past two years, NPR reported Tuesday.
The culprit? Bt corn—a type of genetically engineered corn with insecticide built into its genes.
Variations of this corn strain—peddled across the world by large multinationals including Monstanto and Syngenta—are giving rise to Bt resistant insects and worms, studies show.
NPR reports that resistant 'pests' are decimating entire cornfields across Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota and Nebraska.
Yet, now that the targeted insect killings are not working, big agribusiness is simply throwing pesticides at the problem instead of moving away from GMOs.
This is despite warnings last year from the Environmental Protection Agency that unrestrained use of Bt corn will off-set the balance of the ecosystem.
Monsanto denies the severity of the damage wrought by Bt corn, assuring customers that many farmers 'have great success.'
Environmental groups have long warned that Bt corn is a danger to non-'pest' insects. In a2004 briefing, Greenpeace showed that the effects of non-targeted insect killings ripple throughout the ecosystem.
Critics charge that the modified corn—which is spread by big agribusiness, pushed to small farmers, and crossbred with non GMO strains—undermines food diversity and security and devastates small-scale, sustainable farmers and peasants.
The revelation comes after scientists recently warned that pollution runoff from Midwestern farms, carried to the ocean by the Mississippi, is slated to create the largest ocean dead zone recorded in the Gulf of Mexico, choking marine life that crosses its path.

Are Genetically Engineered Foods Promoting Autism? USA SPRAYS AGENT ORANGE ON ITSELF!

..the journal Weed Science reports that a noxious weed has already developed resistance to 2,4-D in Nebraska. Waterhemp has become a major weed problem in U.S. Midwest agriculture, already having established resistance to five other herbicide groups before 2,4-D.
2,4-D (2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic acid) is a broadleaf herbicide that has been used since the 1940’s, with the notorious history of being an ingredient in Agent Orange during Vietnam. It’s no surprise that the chemical was discovered as part of an effort during World War II to develop chemical weapons.
Biotech firms are working feverishly to get their genetically modified 2,4-D-resistant corn, soybeans, and cotton authorized for commercial sale in the U.S, with some varieties already being considered for “nonregulated status” by the USDA. Use of these GM crops would of course boost the use of 2,4-D, since the herbicide would be used in mass quantities on the resistant crops. This means big profits for corporations such as Dow and Monsanto that control the herbicide and seed economy. Dow is slated to have the first 2,4-D-resistant crop ready for market, and is also a big maker of 2,4-D products.
The first experiment with herbicide-resistant crops was carried out by Monsanto with “RoundUp Ready” crops resistant to their glyphosate-based herbicide RoundUp. Roundup Ready crops were introduced in 1996, and by 2012 61.2 million areas of U.S. cropland had been infested with glyphosate-resistant weeds. By the time RoundUp becomes ineffective at controlling weeds in agriculture, Monsanto will have made untold billions.
With glyphosate superweeds taking over fields, the plan is to move on to other herbicides that are more toxic. When Dow’s 2,4-D resistant crops are approved for use, we can look forward to millions of pounds of 2,4-D being applied across the land in addition to glyphosate. And as weeds develop resistance to 2,4-D we can rest assured that the biotech companies are working on the next genetically-modified answer.

“It appears there is a direct correlation between GMOs and autism.” --Arden Anderson, MD, PhD, MPH
Physician Jennifer Armstrong admits, “Twenty years ago, I didn’t even know what the word autism meant. It was rare.” But then something shifted. Whether it was the food, medicine, environment, or some combination, by 2008, an astounding 1 in 54 boys suffered from autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in the US [1]. What is it that is damaging the health and well-being of so many of our children? Don Huber, PhD, professor emeritus from Purdue University, has an idea.
In October 2011, Dr. Huber gave a talk in Germany about the physiological, neurological, and behavioral symptoms of pigs, cows, and rats fed genetically modified (GM) feed. After his lecture, a physician and autism specialist approached him and said, “The symptoms you describe are exactly what we are finding in our autistic children.”

The animals in those studies were fed the same GM soy and corn eaten by children and adults in the US. Both crops are outfitted with bacterial genes that allow them to survive being sprayed with herbicide, which kills plants. As a result, higher residues of toxic weed killer end up inside our food. In addition, some GM corn varieties have an even more unsettling characteristic: their inserted genes produce an insect-killing poison called Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) toxin in every cell—and in every bite. Although the biotech seed companies like Monsanto claim that their genetically modified organisms (GMOs) are harmless, that’s not what the independent scientists are finding.

This is so interesting...
"Agitated, antisocial animals
When Dr. Huber visited an ongoing research project utilizing rats, he said those animals fed non-GMO feed were “as passive as can be. You can take them out. You can put them on your lap. Treat them almost like a pet cat.” Not so with the rats eating genetically engineered food: “You can hardly catch the rats that have received the GMO feed for a month and a half to two months,” he said. “They go off by themselves. They’re irritated. Crawl up the cage. . . . [They] don’t get along with each other.”
Farmers are reporting the same thing with pigs raised on GMO corn. According to Dr. Huber, a farmer told him that “his pigs just seem to be always irritated. They can’t get along with the other pigs.” Veterinarian Don Skow described similar odd behavior in the pigs of his client. “They would get cannibalistic. They would consume each other—ear biting and tail biting.” And when put in nurseries after weaning, he says, some “would get a condition like Alzheimer’s. They would lose the ability to know where the feed was. A lot of them would die.” Although many of these odd behaviors had been dismissed as normal stress responses for confined animals, when farmers switched to non-GMO feed and the problems went away, the real cause became obvious.
Similar antisocial patterns that Huber described were observed by a Dutch college student more than a decade ago when comparing mice fed GMO or non-GMO soy and corn. He wrote, “The mice fed on GM food seemed less active while in their cages. The differences in activity between the two cages grew as the experiment progressed.” The differences were most striking when he moved the mice to weigh them: “The mice from the GM cage were noticeably more distressed by the occurrence than the other mice. Many were running round and round the basket, scrabbling desperately in the sawdust, and even frantically jumping up the sides, something I’d never seen before. They were clearly more nervous. . . . For me this was the most disconcerting evidence that GM food is not quite normal.”[2]
rat sizes
Dr. Irina Ermakova, PhD, a senior researcher at the Russian Academy of Sciences, reported to the European Congress of Psychiatry in March 2006 that male rats fed GM soy exhibited anxiety and aggression, while those fed non-GMO soy did not [3]. Ermakova reported the same behavior in GM soy-fed female rats and their offspring in her study published in Ecosinform. The animals “attacked and bit each other and the worker."[4]
(Far more shocking, however, was that more than 50% of the offspring from the GMO-fed group died within three weeks when compared with a 10% death rate among the group fed natural soy. The GM group also had high rates of infertility and had smaller members.
Numerous professionals believe that Bt toxin produced in corn is already accelerating many diseases in the US. Arden Andersen, DO, PhD, MPH, believes Bt toxin is specifically implicated in the development of autism.
Compromised flora
In addition to structural deformities in the digestive tract of autistic kids, many also point to intestinal flora that’s gone wild. The bacteria living inside us play an important role in digestion, immunity, detoxification, and even the production of nutrients. In fact, the number of these bacterial cells in our digestive system is about 10 times the number of cells in our entire body. There’s an emerging health field dedicated to restoring the proper balance of intestinal microorganisms.

Altered Genes, Twisted Truth: How the Venture to Genetically Engineer Our Food Has Subverted Science, Corrupted Government, and Systematically Deceived the Public [Paperback]

This book uncovers the biggest scientific fraud of our age. It tells the fascinating and frequently astounding story of how the massive enterprise to restructure the genetic core of the world's food supply came into being, how it advanced by consistently violating the protocols of science, and how for more than three decades, hundreds of eminent biologists and esteemed institutions have systematically contorted the truth in order to conceal the unique risks of its products - and get them onto our dinner plates.

Altered Genes, Twisted Truth gives a graphic account of how this elaborate fraud was crafted and how it not only deceived the general public, but Bill Clinton, Bill Gates, Barack Obama and a host of other astute and influential individuals as well. The book also exposes how the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) was induced to become a key accomplice--and how it has broken the law and repeatedly lied in order to usher genetically engineered foods onto the market without the safety testing that's required by federal statute. As a result, for fifteen years America's families have been regularly ingesting a group of novel products that the FDA's own scientific staff had previously determined to be unduly hazardous to human health.

By the time this gripping story comes to a close, it will be clear that the degradation of science it documents has not only been unsavory but unprecedented - and that in no other instance have so many scientists so seriously subverted the standards they were trained to uphold, misled so many people, and imposed such magnitude of risk on both human health and the health of the environment.

Why the Bees are Dying: Is there an ancient solution to this modern problem found in classic literature?

"The only common solution would be a change in our attitude to the earth. To understand that the earth is animate, and that we are in a constant dialogue with it. And when we treat it disrespectfully, it will not remain inert, but respond in kind, as the nymphs did to Aristaeus, with the death of the bees.
Aristaeus is a hero because his journey entails the emblematic, obligatory initiation through death to rebirth. A new swarm of bees is born from the dead bulls. But the journey’s real value to the hero is a conscious recognition of his crime and the consequent refinement of his natural instincts. Its value to us is a timeless lesson to heed and emulate towards resolving our current, very pressing crisis.
Like Aristaeus, we must make a sacrifice. A sacrifice of our greed for profit. A sacrifice of our old attitudes and outdated ways of treating the earth. We must become reborn to a new consciousness that reciprocates the gifts that the earth has so generously provided. A return that will effect a balance in our relationship with nature, and a renewed blossoming in its bounty–bees included."

“Negative impact on the body is insidious and manifests slowly over time as
inflammation damages cellular systems throughout the body.”

The main finding of the report is that glyphosate inhibits cytochrome P450 (CYP) enzymes, a large and diverse group of enzymes that catalyze the oxidation of organic substances. This, the authors state, is “an overlooked component of its toxicity to mammals.”
One of the functions of CYP enzymes is to detoxify xenobiotics—chemical compounds found in a living organism that are not normally produced or consumed by the organism in question. By limiting the ability of these enzymes to detoxify foreign chemical compounds, glyphosate enhances the damaging effects of those chemicals and environmental toxins you may be exposed to.'

'glyphosate residues, found in most commonly consumed foods in the Western diet courtesy of GE sugar, corn, soy and wheat, “enhance the damaging effects of other food-borne chemical residues and toxins in the environment to disrupt normal body functions and induce disease.” According to the authors:

Florida News
A Deadly Paradox: Scientists Discover the Agent Used in Gulf Spill Cleanup Is Destroying Marine LifeThree years after the BP oil spill, new truths come to light—from deep down inside the ocean

"Three years ago, when BP’s Deepwater Horizon began leaking some 210 million gallons of Louisiana Crude into the Gulf of Mexico, the U.S. government allowed the company to apply chemical “dispersants” to the blossoming oil slick to prevent toxic gunk from reaching the fragile bays, beaches, and mangroves of the coast, where so much marine life originates. But a number of recent studies show that BP and the feds may have made a huge mistake, for which everything from microscopic organisms to bottlenose dolphins are now paying the highest price."

"There are many types of warnings that GM foods create nutritional problems  such as allergies, poison, destroying of kidneys, liver and are a contributing  factor for many new diseases. The chronic diseases increased by some 7 percent  since GM crops ave been started. The other downside of this is many diseases  take a very long time to develop.
Warning of scientists ignored! Before a decision was made to  allow GMOs into food production scientists had repeatedly warned that GM foods  can create unpredictable, hard to detect side effects of which the list is still  growing today and yet the warning of scientists was ignored.
Most safety assessments in place are too superficial to even know most of the  potential dangers from GMOs, although some health studies show growing evidence  of harm from GMOs. GM corn can damage liver and kidneys; also meat is different  raised from GM feed. Roundup can cause birth defects and genetically modified  soy a contributing factor to sterility etc. In addition to previous evidence it  is showing that BT Biopesticide, which confers insect resistance produced in GM  corn and cotton plants, is toxic to human and mammals alike and triggers immune  system responses. This type of BT toxins also entered the blood of pregnant  women and babies. There for it proves and confirms the toxin can enter our blood  supply. At the same time this also explains the rise in many diseases since BT  crop varieties were first introduced back in the late 1990s."

The Gene Revolution, The Future of Agriculture: Dr. Thierry Vrain at TEDxComoxValle

Even though this is a video, and person who is giving information to expose Monsanto, I feel uncomfortable. Mr. Thierry Vrain says the "technology is not quite working" (What?  Can be tweaked to work. Is that it?)
He is not sounding guilty and remorseful enough for my tastes.
He should be crying and begging for forgiveness.
"Some genetic pollution"??? He says!
Our earth and it's inhabitants have been terribly polluted to points that are beyond repair, and now GMO salmon which, cannibalize each other, is about to be set lose into our oceans.
" Dr. Vrain is a scientist who studied and promoted genetically engineered crops during his career. He retired 10 years ago after a long career as a research scientist and Head of Biotechnology at Agriculture Canada’s Summerland Research Station. In his own words, he states, “When I was on the payroll, I was the designated scientist of my institute to address public groups and reassure them that genetically engineered crops and foods were safe.”
As he begins to speak, he introduces the concept of genetic engineering and two technologies, invented in the last 25 years that have completely taken over agriculture.  Over 90% of soy grown in North America is now tolerant to weed killer, engineered to withstand increasing doses of chemicals. “A major coup, a revolution in agriculture” as he calls it, going on to say, “Farmers adopted it because it is so “magic.” It has simplified their life”.
It was also a financial windfall to the biotech industry, the chemical companies and their shareholders, as it enabled record sales of these weedkillers and lines of chemical products.
It was like a green technology, it was going to allow us to perform miracles, he says, addressing how the concept of “substantial equivalence” was put forward: technology involved taking a gene, a piece of DNA, from a bacteria, a fish, and putting it in the crops, and since it looks like corn, tastes like corn, it was called “substantially equicalent” and “crops were reigsteered to be commercialized without really being tested”.  Because no one anticipated any problem.  The chemical companies even used a horticulturalist from a popular zoo to pitch their product."

Roundup Breast Cancer, GMO Papaya Disaster, Soon GMO Trees, Children are in DANGER, Monsanto and Minions War Mongers, Doritos?, BOYCOTT Everything it Seems. ...

Their insufficient attempts at follow-up studies have included

*testing too few UH seeds to provide statistically significant results,

*a pollen study by an undergraduate on the island with the least contamination

*a promise of a study by Carol Gonsalves (Dr. Gonsalves’wife) that has not materialized.

*Promises of GUS testing for papayas being available to farmers and gardeners through the Cooperative Extension service have not materialized either.

*Finally, no attempts at GMO Papaya clean-up by the responsible institutions have been made, to date.

**This pilot study shows more GMO Papaya contamination than anyone expected. **

Our recommendations include:

1. Governments around the globe should not introduce the GMO Papaya into any new growing regions. Even as a field trial, GMO Papaya cannot be contained.

2. Considering the adverse consequences of the GMO Papaya, the Hawaii Department of Agriculture should not commercially release any more GMO crops in Hawaii.

3. The University of Hawaii should clean up the GMO contamination in their non-GMO papaya seeds before selling any more.

4. GMO Papaya testing should be offered to Hawaii Island farmers and gardeners either free of charge or at a nominal cost by the University of Hawaii and PBARC/USDA (Pacific Basin Agriculture Research Center/United States Department of Agriculture), so they can rogue out GMO Papaya contamination.

5. Education about using traditional and alternative methods of Papaya ringspot virus management including introducing PRSV tolerant 3

"A new study confirms that Monsanto’s pesticide ‘RoundUp’ increases breast cancer cells and breaks down the bodies ability to detoxify. This can lead to a number of issues."

"A new groundbreaking study has now found that the most active ingredient in Monsanto’s best selling herbicide “Roundup” is responsible for fuelling breast cancer by increasing the number of breast cancer cells through cell growth and cell division.
The study is published in the US National Library of Medicine (4) and will soon be published in the journal Food and Chemical Toxicology. Several recent studies showed glyphosate’s potential to be an endocrine disruptor. Endocrine disruptors are chemicals that can interfere with the hormone system in mammals. These disruptors can cause developmental disorders, birth defects and cancer tumours.
Glyphosate exerted proliferative effects only in human hormone-dependent breast cancer. We found that glyphosate exhibited a weaker estrogenic activity than estradiol. Furthermore, this study demonstrated the additive estrogenic effects of glyphosate and genisein which implied that the use of glyphosate-contaminated soybean products as dietary supplements may pose a risk of breast cancer because of their potential additive estrogenicity. Genetically Engineered Trees in Canada (They are making trees that have less strength so it is easier to mill...The part that makes a tree stand straight and strong is being manipulated. please go to article)
by Lucretia Schanfarber

"Today, nearly 100 years since these memorable words were penned, the genetic sanctity and survival of our planet’s trees are at risk. Several countries around the world, including our own Canada, have embarked upon a biotechnological journey that may be leading us down the path of genetic devastation for our natural forests and trees.

Concerns about genetically engineered foods and industrial crops continue. At the same time we must face the reality of another, potentially greater, threat to planetary biodiversity - genetically engineered (GE) trees.

Rooted in Money
Surfing the Canadian Forest Service (CFS) website (www.nrcan.gc.ca/cfs), it is disconcerting to find evidence that the federal agency entrusted with the safe keeping of our nation’s forests has become an enthusiastic supporter and promoter of genetically engineered trees.

The FAQ pages (Frequently Asked Questions) of the CFS site ask and answer the question: “Why are genetically engineered trees being produced? The objective is to produce more healthy trees on a smaller land base. Present levels in the demand for wood will double by the year 2020. Genetically engineered trees can be used in intensively managed plantations to decrease the effect of human pressure on our ecosystems while increasing the competitiveness of Canada’s forestry industry.

...Thus far, there has been no recorded release of GE trees in Canada. But there is definitely research being conducted. According to the David Suzuki Foundation(www. davidsuzuki.org), four “confined” GE tree research trials are underway. All located in Eastern Canada, these trials include two test plots of GE poplars, one plot of GE Black Spruce and a plot of White Spruce with an insecticidal gene from Bacillus thurningiensis (BT). Note that many scientists, including Dr. Suzuki, are concerned that pollen from outdoor GE trees can never be entirely safely confined. ”

GE Eucalyptus Trees Approved by the USDA
GMOs — by Kim Crieger Goodwin February 16, 2012

The GE Tree Company ArborGen has been given permission by the USDA to plant huge plantations of genetically engineered (GE) eucalyptus trees across seven states in the southern U.S. — Texas, Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and South Carolina. These states are very well-suited for eucalyptus culture, and varieties of eucalyptus have naturalized in other areas of the United States. Eucalyptus are also used extensively as ornamentals across the warmer parts of the States, creating many opportunities for genetic contamination.
ArborGen is also requesting that trees be allowed to flower at four locations in Alabama, Florida and Mississippi, and to be kept in pots (but not allowed to flower) in two locations in South Carolina.
The GE eucalyptus trees have been engineered for more cold tolerance, to alter flowering patterns, and with resistance to the antibiotic kanamycin.
The Global Justice Ecology Project is trying to stop the introduction of these and other GE trees into our landscapes.
For more detailed information about the dangers of GE Eucalyptus read their action alert (PDF).

U.S. protest target GE trees
From Pritchard Park to the Renaissance Hotel, protesters spent nearly four hours trying to get their message across: genetically engineered trees are bad news for the environment. About 200 people participated in a rally Tuesday aimed at confronting the genetically engineered tree industry, specifically South Carolina-based ArborGen. The protesters chose Asheville because this week it is the site of the International Union of Forest Research Organization Tree Biotechnology 2013 Conference at the Renaissance Hotel. Thomas Llewellyn of Real Cooperative said other countries have been protesting genetically engineered trees for years, but the issue is relatively new to the United States.

"Roundup disrupts the manufacture of necessary amino acids by your gut bacteria. Reduced L-arginine = lower Nitric Oxide = more waste and garbage in your cardiovascular system.
Nitric Oxide keeps your cardio vascular system clean. Nitric Oxide is made in the linings of you veins , vessels and capillaries. Things like Roundup destroyed your ability to produce Nitric Oxide by interfering with the production of key amino acids such as L-arginine. This effects everything from eye site to sex life and of course the Heart. "
